The Washington and Lee Law Review is extending the submission window for its annual Black Law Scholars Book to January 2, 2024. Please see the announcement below:
The W&L Law Review is now accepting submissions for its fourth annual Black Scholars Book, to be published in January 2025. To quote Professor Carliss Chatman in her foreword to the inaugural book, "[t]he goal of the W&L Law Review is to hold space for scholarship of historically marginalized and silenced voices." We are proud to continue that work this year.
Submissions for the Black Scholars Book will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Extension requests will be considered. Please find details for how to submit on our website.
