The UCLA Law Journal of Islamic and Near Eastern Law has opened submissions for Volume 20, published in Fall 2022! In addition to articles, we accept student comments and book reviews, and can also discuss less orthodox pieces as they come up.
If your manuscript topic intersects with the Islamic world (historically or presently) or the Near East as a region (defined broadly), your topic is applicable to JINEL! (Other examples include Rabbinic/Talmudic law, constitutionalism in Muslim-majority countries, issues facing Muslim communities globally, etc.)
